what to do with a humongo zucchini…

june.2008

Being a first time gardener, we are ecstatic at the “fruits of our labor!” Our garden has supplied us with yummy fresh lettuce, fresh beans, and now the zucchini, carrots, tomato’s, and bell peppers are getting close. And for those of you out there with deer problems, a little secret. Plant herbs, I think the cilantro has kept them at bay! Now, having never cooked a zucchini in my life, we will be venturing again into unchartered territory. But we have high hopes!

And by the way, yes my hair is a little more flaming red. The other was temporary, and with the blonde, it was fading fast. So I permanantly went red, and darker. We’ll see if we all adjust!

  1. My favorite zucchini recipe is cut the zucchini into fourths or your case more. Add onion and water to a skillet along with zuchini let it cook about 10-15 min. When done it with be steamed and cheese to top salt and pepper to taste and eat. really good.
