kings island in ohio

may 3.2008
The day after we got Nadia, Jarom and the three older girls went and got some wiggles out at King’s Island. They had a blast riding lots of fun rides, and attempting at getting a little braver(they’ve seen how hesitant and scared to death I am of rides and have picked some of that up). Jarom and his family grew up going here all the time, so he’ll teach them to not be afraid and have a blast!

welcome home Nadia!!!

We made it home! We got home Monday evening, the 12th, about midnight. We are grateful for our dear family who let us stay with them, and for such great support from all. We are enjoying our own home and yard, and slowly getting back in the swing of things. We have seen the Lord’s hand throughout this whole entire process, and what a tremendous spiritual experience it has been. Through waiting the three days to get Nadia after she was born, to meeting the birthfather and his family, and having the birthmother spend Mother’s day with us and our family. The Lord has blessed us tremendously, and we are grateful for this amazing experience. Now, onto all the sleepless nights, feedings, and poopy diapers! Yea! I can’t believe how amazing and natural our girls have been taking care of this sweet baby. They have been wanting a baby to take care of for so long, and Alex from day one knows how to pick her up, feed her, burp her, and has taken on changings too. All the girls love to hold and feed Nadia, and love the burping too(Nadia’s burps are awesome!) She practically does it all on her own! Enjoy the few pic’s, and thanks to dear friends who decorated our door, brought flowers and food, and have celebrated this sweet spirit joining our family!
