so we rotate every other year for birthdays, one year is a family party, the next year is a friend party.  so here it was…the friend party.  we tried to get to the zoo…didn’t make it…went to the playground and played…then they watched a movie, ate food, opened presents, and then we stamped into chipboard their names and punched a hole, and made necklaces for the girls…

oh…forgot to mention…that we had everyone rush their children to our house after school to get to the zoo to have an hour before they closed, and traffic was horrific as it was rush hour, we turned around only a mile from the zoo after being in the car for almost an hour.  we turn around, i get lost and hang up on jarom because i blame him, then he calls and says one girl in his car is about to throw up, the other one is going to wet her pants, we were stuck in traffic, and one could only hope things would get better after that!  we decided to take the girls(we have a total of nine girls with our own kids) to the awesome new playground near our house and let them get energy out before we head to our house for the rest of the festivities.  

so, we made it through another party…thank goodness!
