Tate has needed some obedience lessons, because frankly, we don’t know what they heck we’re doing.  But on a good note, dogs train through complete positive conditioning, which in turn, reminds a person to be more positive to people too!  They never respond to being hit, yelled at, their noses rubbed in anything gross, so don’t even do it.  But you wouldn’t believe what they do respond to…treats!  Well, who wouldn’t, right?  It works for me, and my kids and husband, so why not the dog.

Meredith has been awesome helping us understand the canine world.  Tate is very smart, but still goes on the floor sometimes, so we’re not doing something right.  We just can’t keep enough dang treats around for him!
