We checked out a book from the Library that all of us girls have loved, called Fanny. Even though the girls have more babies and American Girl dolls than one house should hold, we were all inspired to make these dolls together, as a special memory, and we would have our “homemade dolls” instead of “store bought dolls.” Anyhoo, after about three half days of work, they were completed, and I’m done doing projects for now, which is good, because school starts for us which is a whole other project, but I love it!

So we were happy to have Grandma Lott come over after church last week and have dinner with us, and spend time with us. She listens to all the girls talk to her at once, brought them the cute small American Girl books, read to them the “Fanny” book, since she hadn’t heard of it, and helped tuck them in. We love the Lotts, and are grateful to have them near us, especially since the nearest grandparents are 7 hours away. Thanks Grandma Lott!
