jarom’s been dying to go fishing, so we headed up past our house, to echo lake.  it’s up about 17 miles of switchbacks.  it’s absolutely breath-taking, absolutely peaceful and beautiful!  we saw a couple of cute foxes on the way up too!  once we got to the lake, (at over 10,000 feet and 40 degrees), it started to sprinkle, so jarom and alex cast a few times, and we headed back down, stopping to geocache too.  it was a fun family day-thank goodness we have some saturdays like this!
