We had fun hanging out with some family and friends on a pretty darn hot day. The kids played on the waterslide, on the trampoline, and we all hung out and relaxed, visited, and ate food. What better way to spend a Saturday!

Julie and Sarah came out with their kids, and we had a fun montessori day again. It’s so great getting to do this with other people, and a lot more fun than the regular days with just us doing school. I did math again, and Sarah did botany. I love botany! I have taught the girls the different parts of the flower previous to this during our school time, so it was fun that Sarah wanted to do some fun activities with this. She brought different flowers for them to look through the microscope at, and had them trace the puzzle of the flower and label the different parts. We then had a picnic outside together, and the girls and I after everyone left enjoyed looking at more slides in the microscope and free time. Alex painted, and everyone just had a great day. We definitely need more of those!
