easter…
april 12. 2009
Easter this year was great. Layed back, easy going! We colored eggs the day before Easter, which was so much fun!
Sunday morning, the girls woke up and came down to their Easter baskets, which believe it or not, everything on that table is stuff we had. All Jarom and I did was add the candy and plastic eggs.
Sunday after church, I went out and hid the eggs, like 38 of them, and Madison won finding the most. I even just hid them in patches of our overgrown grass, which made it pretty hard. Our girls and Jarom weren’t feeling too well, so we’re kindof a scraggly bunch! Jarom made a yummy traditional ham, potato, and green bean casserole dinner. We’re not too traditional with meals, but it was good.
We were grateful to be able to focus on this special day as the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and celebrate the amazing gift he has given us all! We are also excited for spring, and new life, new buds, and everything new! Happy Easter!
we’re happy to see Cody making such an important and righteous decision…

the long and exciting walk…
the long awaited mission call…
april 7. 2009
Cody received his mission call, and we photographed the whole event walking to the mailbox and throughout the whole thing. Aaron saw it in the mail(Cody is living with our other brother Aaron and his wife), and made Cody wait to go get it until we were all there for him to open it. He will be serving in San Bernadino, CA, and leaves June 3rd. We had a nice pizza party after, thanks to Aaron and Cami.
We also had two friends of our girls’ with us, so we had a total of 7 little girls counting all the kids there. Good thing Aaron and Cami are expecting a boy, break this trend of girls!
