We’ve had an extremely blessed week. Let me jump back a little bit. We found out six weeks ago we were chosen to be the recipients of a little girl, and she was born this past week, on April 29th, weighing in at 9 pds. 9 oz., which is amazing since her mom is normally 98 pds. herself. She is a beautiful, healthy little girl, that reminds us of her sweet birthmom. We named her Nadia Lynn Olson, Lynn is the middle name of her birthmom. Nadia was placed with us Friday evening at about 6:15pm, May 2nd, which happens to be Madison’s birthday. To us, this is an amazing day in and of itself, since 7 years ago when Madison was born, she fought and won to stay in this world. We had a very blessed day yesterday in celebrating two of our daughters. Nadia is a beautiful, sweet baby, we can feel her amazing spirit, and loved her the second we saw and held her. Last night was very sleepless, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! Happy Birthday Madison, and welcome to our family, Nadia!
What a beautiful addition to your already beautiful family. We can’t wait to meet her!
Talk about choking back the TEARS! WOW! Congrats, and Happy BDAy to BOTH of your beautiful girls! You are an inspiration! I want to hear more! We’ve been thinking adoption may be a better route for us too.Love ya!
