i only have a few…

march-april 2010
I haven’t taken a lot of pic’s of our new home on the inside because 1-everything has been unpacked since day 8 of the move, but I haven’t hung a lot of things on the walls and so I wanted to wait for it to look more like home, and 2, time is short lately. I’ll take more soon. We love this home, it is borrowed for a year, while we figure out what our next step is. It’s beautiful, and we’re enjoying our wonderful neighborhood, our great and fun ward, and the area with so many amazing things to do!

cool missionaries…

march 2010
We had a farewell dinner and game night with the missionaries and another family, and had so much fun. They wanted a picture with us before we moved, and they even helped pack up remaining items in the house when Jarom flew back for the final weekend move and the girls and I were already in Georgia. Thanks missionaries-come visit us anytime after the mish!

farewell tea party…

march 2010
A good friend in our ward invited us to dress up, and come have a farewell tea party. She had her kitchen decorated with all the beautiful food to eat, details about how tea parties had started that she shared while we nibbled our food and drank with our pinkies out, and had found each of the girls their own tea cup and plate from an antique store for them to return home with. It was a memorable experience, and now every year, we will continue the tradition of a tea party in March. It’s ideas that get turned into an activity that can really create such a memorable and fun event!

our amazing daughters…

march 2010
Before our move, our amazing daughters put this together for us. No, that is not animal droppings on our table!, but delicious chocolate treats Alex and the girls made up for us. You can tell they had heard a lot of talk about money and moving, they donated their money to our move, which is such a sweet gesture of love! We don’t know where Alex ever saw champagne chilling on ice, she couldn’t remember either, but we thought it was funny that she would do something very thought out like that. Thank you sweet girls!
