jamestown, williamsburg, virginia beach

Jarom had a week long contract in Chesapeake Virginia, so we decided to go hang out with him, and have some fun while he worked. Our adopted grandma, Betty Lott, met us down there on Monday, and took us around Jamestown and Williamsburg. It was so much fun, I was so glad she was able to meet us! Tuesday, we took it easy and hung out at the hotel and slept in and ate and relaxed, it was much needed, and of course, daddy took them swimming that evening-what a fun dad! Wednesday, the girls and I went on an adventure, and just went driving around for some sight-seeing things I had pulled up. We went and saw a lighthouse, played on the beach, and had a lot of fun! Wednesday evening, Jarom and I went on a hot date to see Coldplay! So much fun being with Jarom and just being kids again, we had a great time! Thursday, we went to Virginia Beach, and had a ball playing in the sand, which Nadia grew accustomed too shortly, the girls buried her, she was loving it until she accidentally got some in her mouth, and then it was all over from there! Friday, we headed an hour towards home after Jarom got off of work, and we stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge for a night. I guess it’s more fun in the winter so you can swim, but I don’t feel any urges to head back anytime soon. It was an experience though! We got back Saturday in time to get ready for a baby shower, so it was a fun and busy week. I was so glad the girls and I could go out and venture together, they are so much fun!

learning to ride a bike…

may. 2009
Little Madison was determined to ride without training wheels, and went out and was working so hard. Camden decided she too was ready, and went out and just did it, while Madison was still figuring it all out. Sometimes frustrating for Madison, Camden can just whiz through whatever it is she is learning, she’s very fast and smart, but it’s such a good motivator for Madison. Madison learns on her own terms, and it’s great to see. They have gotten it since, with little help from mom and dad, and did it all by themselves! Good job girls!
