Our girls are great most of the time when it comes to helping getting things done around the house and yard. Alex jumped right at the chance to help dad mow for the first time. It’s almost like a rite of passage, being old enough to do such a thing! This mower by no means has replaced the robomower, just sometimes robomower can’t get to some places that great. And amazingly enough, Alex did not try and match the mower, she’s just good!

And of course, we play hard too. The water slide has been one of our best investments, and the summers have been bearable.

The newness of a new baby is starting to wear off, where the girls aren’t arguing who gets to feed her anymore, but they still love to play and cuddle, so I really can’t complain. Alex has started grumbling about feeding and burping Nadia, but loves to play with her before and after the feedings are done, so what’s up with that? That’s o.k., they’ve really been amazing and have surpassed any thought or hope of what would happen with a new addition to the family. Enjoy the pic’s!
