jarom and cynthia’s cruise to cozumel!

february 6-11.2008
Had a little getaway. Quite a lot of fun! Went with another couple from our branch. It was a four day cruise to Cozumel(spent one day there), and toured Tulum. Our tour guide was Helaman, and he lives there, and is also a member of our church! So we got the Book of Mormon aspect of the history of Tulum-absolutely amazing. I have to say, since homeschooling(it’s been almost 2 1/2 years), I absolutely love all the subjects, and I am especially enjoying history. It is great to put together historical events and how they coincide with world events, and they make sense to us, because we have The Book of Mormon. It was very memorable!

alex does "locks of love!"

february 28.2008
Our oldest daughter Alex cut her hair 10″ to donate to locks of love. It’s an organization to help those who are sick or for some reason can’t grow hair, and they are given these beautiful locks from people who are willing to give them up! Such an awesome idea! Madison, who is six right now, loves to do what Alex does, so she had her hair chopped too, because she needed short hair like Alex. So, timewise for me, it’ll take us another 30 minutes in the mornings to blow dry all three girls’ hair-Yippee!
