men’s stake basketball tournament, oh man!

february 23.2008
Well, the branch didn’t do so great in the tournament, in fact, they were the first team eliminated. That’s o.k., the girls and I had fun watching. They got a little one on one with daddy too during half time and in-between games. The three girls and I each had our own little camera taking pic’s, we must have been a site. Alex, Madison, and Camden were very proud of their daddy! So was I. Enjoy the pic’s!-btw-Jarom is the one in the white BYU shirt and blue shorts!

organic finatic..the more I hear about chemicals…

march 3.2008
The more I hear about how important organic is, the more I’m grateful we’ve slowly been switching things in our home. No matter how much I get questioned or harrassed about our organic family, the more I realize as I research more and more that the results will be outrageously beneficial to our family. Including less chance for many sicknesses, diseases, health issues and so forth. For any of you that want to know more, here’s just one of many great links…

This one is about how important organic milk is.

This one is about what’s in our fruit/veggies! Gross!
Look up anything on this site-it explains what pesticides(toxic chemicals) that are in our food that we eat everyday, causing childhood illness and disease. Ignorance never is bliss, so get educated! Nearer to nature is always going to be better for your bod!

school today…

march 3.2008
Today has been a good school day. I started off with teaching Cam’s reading. She is soooo ready, even though she’ll be five in September. She asked me today, “Mom, why did Jesus have me born without being able to read?” Oh, so dang cute! Always love getting school done for the day, and Cam and Madison going down for naps. ( I know, Madison is six and still taking naps, but her little body needs it!) Ahhhh, a little quiet time, even though I still usually have Alex’s school to finish up. Notice the empty school desk! A good day’s work when everyone’s finished their work for the day!!!
While I’m working with one girl, and someone else needs something to do, they’ll do puzzles or art or learning c.d.’s. So I’m putting some pic’s out of the art the girls have done. They trace pic’s out of the art book, and color it. They are getting pretty good. It’s fun to see them in their different talents and stages. Here’s todays art…
Alex is 9
Madison is 6
Camden is 4

released as young women’s president today…

march 2.2008
I was released as Young Women’s President today, and feel so free! I know another calling will be coming I’m sure, being in a branch there are no “floaters” I guess you could say. We all are busy at work fulfilling our duties the best we can, and you feel apart of things too. But I will enjoy this momentary freedom. I loved working with those dear and sweet young women. But they are in amazing hands, and maybe that’s why I feel so great about the adjustment too. Life is full of endless possibilities, change, excitement, disappointment and so forth. And I love it all. It’s awesome to be here in life, and have this experience! I’m very grateful for it all I must say. I’m very grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that I know my purpose. It’s liberating to know why you are where you are at and where you should be going. So I’m grateful for much today as that chapter closes, and I know many more will open.
