madison, our free spirit…

june.2008
Madison, is our dear sweet daughter who doesn’t care about details. Who cares if the bed is made, just flip the covers up. Who cares if the dirty clothes are in the hamper, they were thrown in the laundry room where they go. Who cares if her hair is combed all over, the brush touched her hair. Who cares! And dangit, I love her for it. She brings to life the things that are more important, and wants to do “other” things no matter what we may be doing. The questions flow non-stop, what are we eating for dinner…..when will dad get home….who is this…who’s at the door…who’s doing what… and so forth. So after having her answer her own questions for awhile now, I’ve figured she just loves to talk. She’ll carry the converation.

We had a fun night together, just mom and madison, when I went to get my hair colored. She wanted to come along, and get her hair cut, and we did it and had so much fun together. We went to petsmart and saw uncle Cody, who didn’t recognize me, which was fun! Then we went to target and got a pretzel and yummy smoothie to enjoy while we looked around for a bit. We had a lot fun, and I hope to do more one on one more often! She’s amazing, brilliant, free-spirited, and enjoys life. Here’s celebrating you Madison, and all you’ve fought for to be here! Love you sweetheart!
